Tier 1 And Race
Tier 1 is a season, not a tutorial lap. The top RWF guilds blast ahead off-screen, but your guild is meant to live in this raid for most of the demo if you are playing normally.
Tier 1 boss order
| # | Boss | Drop ilvl | Recommended GS | Manager read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Lucifraud the Cleansable | 5 | 3 | The opener. A clean intro to the survival model. |
| 2 | Magmadork the Panic Beast | 6 | 5 | Early control and panic tax. |
| 3 | Gehennaut the Curse Stack | 7 | 6 | More raid damage and more excuses. |
| 4 | Grarr the Add Avalanche | 7 | 7 | Add pressure starts asking real comp questions. |
| 5 | Baron Geddonuts | 8 | 7 | Discipline check. |
| 6 | Shazzbruh the Lagspike | 9 | 8 | Positioning and gaze trouble. |
| 7 | Sulfuryawn Harbinger | 10 | 9 | Late-tier pressure starts showing. |
| 8 | Golemaggro the Overtuned | 10 | 10 | Stability test for tanks and healers. |
| 9 | Majordumb Execu-tus | 11 | 10 | Gatekeeper energy before the finale. |
| 10 | Ragnaroast, Lord of the Last Pull | 12 | 11 | The season payoff and the toughest mechanics check in the tier. |
Tier 1 ramps avoidable-damage pressure across the season. Early bosses are allowed to farm out. Late bosses are meant to keep MEC, freshness, knowledge, and clean play relevant even after gear rises.
Dungeon progression ladder
| Dungeon | Unlock | Run time | Gold base | Gear band |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Deadlines | Available immediately | 540s | 12g | ilvl 1 to 2 |
| Crimson Cloister | Kill Lucifraud | 540s | 15g | ilvl 1 to 3 |
| Stratholme Side Hustle | Kill Ragnaroast or wait for tier rotation | 600s | 21g | ilvl 11 to 15 |
| Scholomance Night Classes | Kill Ebonroc or wait for tier rotation | 600s | 24g | ilvl 14 to 19 |
| Dire Maul Tribute Run (They Know) | Kill Nefarian or wait for tier rotation | 660s | 30g | ilvl 24 to 28 |
| Naxxramas Trash Clearing LLC | Kill Twins or wait for tier rotation | 660s | 36g | ilvl 27 to 32 |
Every completed run gives gold plus exactly one gear drop. There is also a rare-item chance on dungeon drops for a small ilvl spike.
Season goals and pressure
Cutting Edge
Kill the live tier's final boss before the 20-week season ends.
Hall of Fame
Estimated world rank 200 or better on that live-tier final kill.
Auto raid night
If you did not raid during the week, the guild auto-pulls its progression target at rollover.
Hard rotation
After 20 weeks the next tier arrives no matter how complete your clear is.
This is why the race board matters even if you are never realistically beating the top ten. It reminds you that the season clock is real.
How to read the race board
The top RWF guilds are not your direct ladder opponents in the demo. They are the world-pressure layer. Your guild gets pinned far below them at its true funnel-derived world rank, which is why a first kill can still feel meaningful even if the top guilds cleared the place ages ago.
- Do not compare yourself to rank 1 pacing. That is flavor pressure, not the target curve.
- Do compare yourself to the calendar. Your real enemy is the 20-week rollover.
- Use first kills as progress checkpoints. They move fame, rating, and race identity all at once.
